Viva Las Vegas

Hello Everyone,

Brendan and I have just arrived in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
We just spent the last 2 days in Las Vegas and what a town it is!!! We expected it to be "Sin City" but found it to be a clean, friendly, and very entertaining city! We found the city to be like one HUGE resort with many different areas within it. Each hotel had its own theme and offered a variety of things to see and do (besides gambling).

We spent our first night at Margaritaville and met up with one of my co-worker who was in Las Vegas. Then we caught the Bellagio watershow which was my favorite part of the Las Vegas strip. We also spent some time that evening at The Bank nightclub in the Bellagio-dancing!!!

The second day we woke up and had an incredible breakfast buffet at Caesar's Palace and then walked down the strip to see
hotels on the far end of Las Vegas Blvd. That evening we were back at the Bellagio for dinner at Cirquo, an Italian themed restaurant with views overlooking the Bellagio watershow. After dinner we headed to the Mirage for the Beatles Love show-it was unbelievable! The show featured all of the best Beatles music and the audience was part of the show-from being in the Strawberry Fields to the Octopus' Garden in the sea, the entire experience was unreal! The things the performers can do are breathtaking and you'd have to see the show for yourself to gain a true understanding of the show.

This morning (Saturday) we headed to the Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon. The Hoover
Dam is HUGE!!!! The Grand Canyon is a work of art painted by the graceful hand of God. We've never witnessed a more beautiful landscape.

We are checked into the Island Suites here in Lake Havasu for the evening. The original London Bridge is here (it was purchased by the city founder and moved here piece by piece) and after a swim (it is very hot and SO DRY-my contacts stick to my eyeballs) we're going to check that out! Tomorrow morning we head to LA and should have more frequent updates. Check back soon!
